Drummer at the Wrong Gig
This is what I am talking about. This should make up for the stupid Copa post. Rock and Roll! (Thanks to Fred, a professional drummer in Tucson for 30+ years, for telling us about this. “I give him this, he keeps the groove going.”) The fun starts at a minute in, so skip the talking.
This is a band known as Rck K. and the Allnighters. They are a cover band based out of West Virginia that does some touring too.
The band credits list “Steve Moore – Drums & Backing Vocal” so we assume that the awesome drummer in the video is Steve Moore. Notice the drum set with flames!

At the risk of losing credibility with the biker crowd, here is an amusing video of Copacabana. It explains all of the juicy plot elements of the tune.
(It has been decided that posting this extremely embarrassing video was foolish and the video has been bumped from the front page. This video is lame and idiotic, to match the song, and whoever watches it should be ashamed of themselves.)
Even more than official
While BP’s Gulf oil spill is totally horrifying, someone’s decided to at least put a lighter face on it, via the @BPGlobalPR Twitter feed. The Huffington Post recently published some of the most ridiculous of them. Even better, with gems like: 
they’ve got more followers on Twitter than BP’s *real* Twitter feed, @BP_America.
TechnoViking will outlive your takedown notices
It seems that the TechnoViking has been removed from YouTube because of some copyright issue. This is insane.
You can’t stop the TechnoViking. What kind of world do we live in when some awesome dude dancing in the street can’t be legally rebroadcast across the internets? Well, we live in a world were it will be continued to be uploaded and archived and spread for years to come. You can’t stop it. And why would you want to?
Not Fun
Well this was super annoying. The Greatest Website Of All was hacked on Monday. It took me about 30 min to fix it, but it is annoying. Everything is all cleaned up and Google now has unblocked the site. There are two lessons here. Make sure that you have backups of your site! (I did.) Update your wordpress installation, even if you have to break you custom Kubrick theme. (Which I hadn’t done, which made the site vulnerable to the SQL injection hack that we experienced.) But all is well now. I am going to have to spruce up the Greatest Website of All with a new theme though. (Update: I was able to install a clean upload the old theme for the time being.)
